Reports that explain themselves, not just another dashboard
A dashboard shows you that 14 leads went to Lost. A report tells you that 9 of them said the price was too high, that they all came from the same inbox, and that this is the third period in a row it has happened. Kronos writes that review for you on a schedule.
TL;DR
- Open a funnel, scroll below the board to Periodic reports, flip the switch on.
- Pick Weekly, Every 2 weeks, or Monthly.
- Optionally write what you want the report to focus on.
- Read them under Reports in the sidebar. The newest one also shows on Home.
- Download PDF to forward or print it.
Two kinds of report
Funnel report
Scoped to one board. Where leads pile up, which stage is slow, what got won and lost, and why. Turn it on from the funnel's own page.
General report
Your whole account. Compares funnels against each other and adds inbox activity: conversations, reply speed, objectives closed.
Both are written by the same AI with the same information. The only difference is how far it can look.
Turning it on
- Open a funnel and scroll below the board to Periodic reports.
- Flip the switch on.
- Pick how often: Weekly, Every 2 weeks, or Monthly.
- Optionally write what you want it to focus on.
The schedule starts counting from the moment you turn it on, so a weekly report set up on a Tuesday arrives the following Tuesday.
What to focus on
The focus box steers what the report emphasizes. Write it the way you would ask a person.
| What you write | What changes |
|---|---|
Tell me why leads are not leaving the first stage. | Digs into the first stage and why leads sit there |
I care about response times, not lead counts. | Inbox responsiveness leads, volume gets a mention |
Focus on what we lost and why. | Lost leads and their recorded reasons lead the report |
It steers emphasis, not scope. A funnel report stays on its funnel no matter what you write, and asking for something it cannot measure will not invent it.
What is in a report
The numbers, measured directly
Open leads, entries and exits per stage, median days a lead sits in each stage, the rate leads move forward, conversations per inbox, median time to first reply, and objectives closed. Calculated from your data before the AI writes anything, so they are exact.
The explanation, written by the AI
Where the pipeline is actually stuck, which leads need attention now, what the recorded reasons say about lost deals, and whether something is a trend or a one-off. Reports remember earlier ones, so the AI can tell you a problem is getting worse rather than describing each period as if it were the first.
Reports are deliberately short. If a period was quiet, you get a few sentences saying so — not five pages padded out to look thorough.
Reading and sharing one
Charts sit at the top and the written review below them. The charts always come from measured data, never from what the AI wrote — which is why they are worth trusting.
Download PDF gives you the report as a document you can forward, print, or attach to an email.
Generating one on demand
Generate now writes a report covering everything since the last one, without waiting for the period to close. Useful before a meeting.
You can do this twice a day per schedule. Reports take real work to produce, and the limit keeps that in proportion. If there has been no activity since the last one, Kronos tells you instead of writing a report about nothing.
If a report fails
Occasionally the writing step fails. When that happens the report still opens and still shows every number — the measurements are taken and saved before the AI runs, so a failure costs you the narrative, not the data. The page says plainly that the written part is missing, and the next scheduled report is unaffected.
What reports can and cannot see
Reports read your funnel history, the reasons recorded on each lead movement, your lead details, and conversation volume per inbox.
They can look at recent messages for specific leads, but only when the recorded reasons genuinely do not explain something, and only for a small number of leads per report. A report is a review of your pipeline, not a transcript of your conversations.
A report only ever covers your own account, and writing one is read-only — it cannot move a lead, message a customer, or change a setting.
Frequently asked
Do I need reports turned on for every funnel?
No. Turn it on where a written review is useful. Many people run the general report plus one funnel that matters most.
Can I change how often after setting it up?
Yes. Changing the interval keeps the period in progress rather than restarting the clock.
What happens if I turn reports off?
No new ones are written. Everything already generated stays and remains readable and downloadable.
Does deleting a funnel delete its reports?
The reports stay. They keep the record of what that funnel did.
Can the AI change anything in my account from a report?
No. Writing a report is read-only. It cannot move a lead, message a customer, or change a setting.
