Kron

The AI assistant built into your Kronos dashboard. Talk to it in plain language and it explains, sets up, and operates your account for you.

What Kron is

Kron is not one of the customer-facing agents you build for WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger — it is the assistant for your account itself. The idea behind it is simple: your whole Kronos account should be operable in plain language, not only through menus and forms.

You describe what you want — in your own words, in whatever language you write to it in — and Kron reads your account's real state and either does it, guides you through it, or explains it.

Where to find it

Kron lives in Home inside the dashboard. New accounts get a first conversation with it automatically during onboarding, and it stays available afterward for anything else you need.

What you can use it for

Kron ships updates continuously, so treat this as a sense of scope rather than a fixed feature list. Broadly, it covers:

  • -Setting things up — creating and configuring AI agents, connecting channels and integrations, choosing models and settings.
  • -Explaining your account — what's active, what's connected, how things are going, what changed.
  • -Making changes on your behalf — reassigning an agent, updating a setting, starting a connection flow.
  • -Answering "how do I…" questions — it can search the same Kronos documentation you're reading right now.
  • -Working with files — read something you drop into the conversation and use it to help you.

The constant across all of this is that Kron is the natural-language control surface for your account — as its abilities grow, that's the part that won't change.

How it keeps you in control

Kron never changes your account silently. Safe reads and setup steps can happen directly inside the conversation, but anything consequential — creating, changing, or reassigning something real — shows up first as a confirmation card that you have to approve. Kron proposes; you decide.

It also never asks for passwords, API keys, or other secrets, and it only ever operates on your own authenticated account.

Kron vs. your customer-facing AI agents

Easy to conflate, but they play different roles. Your AI agents — the ones you create and assign to a WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, or voice inbox — talk to your customers, using your knowledge base and the tools you've given them.

Kron talks to you, about and on your account. It doesn't join your customer conversations, and your customer-facing agents don't inherit Kron's account-control abilities.

How it relates to the Public API and MCP

The real backend actions Kron can take run through the same underlying action layer that powers the Kronos Public API and Kronos MCP server. In practice, anything Kron safely does for you inside the dashboard is generally something you can also trigger yourself from code, or from an external AI client like Claude Desktop.
