Google Sheets
Reads, searches, or writes rows and cells in a connected Google Sheet.
What it does
Runs one action against your Google Sheets connection: read a range, find a row by a column value, add a new row, or write specific cells.
When to use it
Use it to log leads, look up an existing record, or keep a spreadsheet in sync — without relying on an agent to remember the steps in the middle of a conversation.
How to use it
- 1Choose an action: Read range, Find row, Add row, or Write cells.
- 2Paste the spreadsheet link.
- 3Fill in the fields for the action you chose — a tab picker appears once the spreadsheet is recognized.
Settings
- Connected account (only shown when you have more than one).
- Spreadsheet link.
- Action-specific fields: range, tab, matching column and value, row values, or a list of cell/value pairs.
Tips
- • Add row always computes the next empty row from a key column instead of appending — this avoids the classic issue where Google Sheets puts new data in the wrong column on a formatted table.
- • Use Find row before Write cells when you need to update an existing record instead of adding a new one.
